I ordered my chai latte on June 12, 2025. As soon as I went to the drive thru window to pay, the first thing the barista said “tip” and flipped the card reader around. I told her can I first pay, then I’ll decide if I want to leave a tip or not. The young lady said” oh I didn’t know you were going to use the Starbucks app” to pay. This is very unprofessional and rude to ask customers for tips prior to paying and getting the drink.
