I rarely go to Starbucks but stopped in this location yesterday to kill some time before a doctor’s appointment. The barista helping me, Steve, is such a gem!!! They are so kind and helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I liked my drink. I was shocked already by how happy and enthusiastic they were. Surprisingly quick and pleasant during the morning rush.
To the Starbucks Customer Service team, I’m writing to express my concern about an unpleasant experience my family had at your San Juan Capistrano store. The barista, Thomas, refused to provide my mother-in-law with hot water unless she paid for it, which was upsetting and confusing since other customers have received water without charge and my mother was a returning customer.
