They still suck. I stopped coming to this location because they sucked couple years ago. In the area today. Still the same.
Had a great experience at this Starbucks in Carlsbad while on vacation. My daughter and I ordered a chai latte and a double-shot espresso over ice, and both drinks were ready right when we arrived. Also had a cheese danish. The staff was very kind and pleasant, and they happily gave us water when we asked—small things, but they matter. The space itself was a big plus: very spacious, open, and comfortable, not tight or cramped like some other locations.
