8/8/25 This morning’s experience at the drive-thru was disappointing. I’m a soft-spoken woman who values kindness and peace, especially at the start of my day. When I was asked if the matcha order was mine, I responded with a polite “yes.” I also asked for my receipt, but received no response — instead, I overheard the woman at the window say, “I’m not in the mood.” That kind of attitude sets a negative tone for customers who come for more than just coffee — we come for a moment of calm and connection.
