Late Sunday afternoon and I just came from a wake and I had a 2-hour drive back to Maine in the rain. I ordered my usual, grande Pikes hot with cream, and I gave myself a treat by ordering a couple chocolate chip cookies for the drive. The update to this Starbucks has made it inefficient and unfriendly to people UNLESS they mobile order. It feels very corporate and there's no room to wait, no seating, and no bathroom. The wait is very long because they prioritize the mobile orders. The people themselves are friendly and upbeat, this is really a design problem. The same space and square footage was used for many years before and the vibes were fun and actually like a coffee shop should be.
Absolute worst experience of my life. Treated like dog when arrived no one even bothered to say hi when I walked in. Barista gave my friend a dirty look for not tipping then proceeded to give me a venti in a trenta cup. Highly disappointed do better.
I always come to this location before work to get my breakfast and coffee, and the employees are just so kind and helpful. Highly recommend!
