sit at the counter people checked out around me waited at the counter no one spoke to me everyone stood around chit chat and talking to their co-workers and eventually someone tapped the lady on the arm and told her to give me my order and she finally gave him a order not a single word was spoke to me the whole time it is the rudest place I've ever been to I would never go back
I asked for a Frappuccino split into 2 cups for my two-year-old twins, but the staff said they weren’t allowed to do that. They weren’t rude, but they also weren’t trying to get my business. Somewhere, a policy about what cups to use got precedence over figuring out how to create brand loyalty. I would have paid more (but the cost of an extra cup can’t be more than a few cents) but apparently that wasn’t an option. There are many different coffee places in Asheville. A good, clean, friendly Starbucks. The coffee is great, but I rated the "food" as only 2stars because corporate Starbucks offers lousy food it can freeze, thaw and heat quickly to hand to me. I really don't know why it doesn't offer better bagels and breads which could fit their speed of delivery focus. Maybe they'll change that - but for now I no longer order any of their factory food. Sat and read with sound-cancelling headphones on which was very enjoyable.
I've been here around a dozen times and always order ahead by 5+ minutes. This is by far the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. Even when not particularly busy I still have to wait at least 10 minutes for my order to be ready.
