Wait-tine is way too long during morning hours! ( Sept 2026). A good, clean, friendly Starbucks. The coffee is great, but I rated the "food" as only 2stars because corporate Starbucks offers lousy food it can freeze, thaw and heat quickly to hand to me. I really don't know why it doesn't offer better bagels and breads which could fit their speed of delivery focus. Maybe they'll change that - but for now I no longer order any of their factory food. Sat and read with sound-cancelling headphones on which was very enjoyable.
Waited 20 minutes for a coffee with cream, stood in line to see why it was taking so long and was ignored by who appeared to be a manager for 5 minutes, absolutely terrible behavior
sit at the counter people checked out around me waited at the counter no one spoke to me everyone stood around chit chat and talking to their co-workers and eventually someone tapped the lady on the arm and told her to give me my order and she finally gave him a order not a single word was spoke to me the whole time it is the rudest place I've ever been to I would never go back
I asked for a Frappuccino split into 2 cups for my two-year-old twins, but the staff said they weren’t allowed to do that. They weren’t rude, but they also weren’t trying to get my business. Somewhere, a policy about what cups to use got precedence over figuring out how to create brand loyalty. I would have paid more (but the cost of an extra cup can’t be more than a few cents) but apparently that wasn’t an option. There are many different coffee places in Asheville.
