The barista was very rude to my mother today. My mom walked up and politely asked if they had hot chocolate. The girl at the counter said "I'm fine, thank you". My mother, now confused, thought she had spoken too quietly and the girl didn't hear her. She repeated her question (still in a polite manor). The girl then responded with "it's polite to greet someone before asking for something" (Not exact words but close). Her tone was entitled, rude, and unprofessional.
