One star is being generous. I ordered a Pistachio Cream Cold Brew and waited for 30 minutes. No update, no heads-up, no one bothered to say, “Hey, by the way, we’re out of it.” Only when I asked did I find out… it wasn’t even available. If it’s out of stock, say it from the beginning. Don’t let people stand there like decorations for half an hour. This isn’t just about coffee — it’s about basic communication. People’s time isn’t free. Today I ordered a Pistachio Cream Cold Brew and waited for 30 minutes. During that time, no one informed me about any issue. When I finally asked, they told me they were out of it. If the item is not available, customers should be informed at the beginning. I lost my time and felt completely disappointed. This level of communication is not acceptable. I expected much better service.
A few years ago this was such a well-run store, especially considering the heavy tourist traffic it had to deal with. I went there every morning and it was consistently great. Unfortunately, it has gone downhill badly. There’s an entirely new staff now, and the service is poor. The manager isn’t much better. I actually go out of my way to patron the Setauket store instead.
The team was really nice to me, going above and beyond to be helpful when I dropped a coffee all over my car, my dog, and myself today. Thank you!!!
