I was a Starbucks customer for many years, but I had the worst experience at the Starbucks in Alpine, CA. I’m a truck driver; I stopped in to buy a large coffee with an extra espresso shot, plus breakfast. I always pay with a debit card, but this time I only had cash on me. I tried to pay with a $50 bill, and the cashier refused to accept my money. The reason? I don't know—maybe racism? I’m pretty sure they would have had the change, but anyway...
