The staff here performs absolute caffeine triage. They processed my Code Green (a six-scoop matcha, nonfat, no foam, no classic syrup) with more precision than a surgical robot. It's the only place on campus where a 7:57 am emergency is met with calm efficiency and zero judgment about your drink modifications. The most disgusting Starbucks I've ever been. The servers were rude, making faces about people's names, not following directions, and all around crass. The whole lot should be fired. Why should people visiting a hospital have to deal with such nasty little girls. Duke Hospital needs to consider if this is a contract company they want to keep for a place where people are suffering over loved ones. Caribou is just as nice and not nearly as expensive or with mean spirited staff.

Kayla is an exceptional employee. Greets everyone with warm smile. Remembers customers by name and their drink orders. Makes it an enjoyable experience every time.

I ordered an iced gingerbread latte and it didn’t come with the spices or whip cream I went back to get my drink made again this time they didn’t make it with ANY pumps of ginger bread. It was not sweet at all! Do better ladies! Last week the barista dropped a gallon of milk on the floor picked it up and kept using it.

I placed a mobile app order and it took almost 20 minutes to get my drinks. I ordered two drinks, and they only made one. I had to ask the barista about the second one, and then wait another five minutes for it to be made. The customer service was terrible, the attitude from the staff was dismissive, and there was no acknowledgement or apology for the delay or mistake. The team did not seem organized at all. Very disappointing experience.
