I ordered an iced macchiato (the classic unsweetened version) and was given an iced caramel macchiato instead. When I went back to clarify, I explained that I can’t tolerate flavored syrups and specifically wanted the plain iced macchiato. Unfortunately, the staff insisted that iced macchiatos always include syrup, which is incorrect — the classic iced espresso macchiato does not. On Saturday morning around 8:30, I arrived at the branch. After hiding in line for a few minutes, I said hello and good afternoon to the clerk and told him I had a pickup order, but the clerk told me very harshly that I would have to wait. I told the clerk that you didn't even say hello to me and that you were very rude. He treated me like that because I was delivering a package. So I just moved to Alexandria, VA and this is the closest Starbucks. I've ordered here 5 times. When I do order I was getting a Caramel Macchiato, Iced, Venti Upside Down, Salted Caramel Foam with Extra Caramel. Never did the either Coat the cup or put Caramel Drizzle on the foam. Then I switched to the Venti Cherry Chia Latte. I order this with extra crunchies and extra foam light ice. As you can see in the picture,nowhere is the Extra foam.
