I’ve given this Starbucks at WSU multiple chances, but the wait times are excessive, often exceeding 30 minutes. It makes grabbing a quick coffee impossible. If you’re in a hurry or just don’t want to spend half your morning waiting, I’d strongly recommend heading to the food halls instead (where you can get Thomas Hammer coffee) - much faster and a better overall experience. Stay away from this Starbucks as they literally take hundreds of online orders at the same time but can't keep up.
The lead barista (a ginger woman) was extremely rude during my experience at this Starbucks. Disrespectful to me and the employees working at the time too. So unprofessional especially as a “lead”. Very disappointed.
I just waited after ordering for 30 minutes! Just for an iced tea and people who were in line behind me already had their drinks and were gone. That new screen thing is also worthless, it said my drink was ready just after I ordered it and then my name was gone before my drink was even made! And I still got charged! Disappointed to say the least.
