Ordered 2 grande mochas with raspberry, the usual order for my husband and I. The drinks we received today were easily the best drinks we’ve received from any Starbucks. Normally something is off with them and we are never quite sure why until today! The man making the drinks (Matthew) also handed us our drinks himself, didn’t put it on the counter, but actually handed it to us and told us thank you and to have a great day. Visited today 4/8- had the friendliest cashier, (Matthew) on the planet, he took my order and was so precise and sweet. We talked about NY as we were both from Long Island and it was so nice to bond with someone after our long day of delays. He was the nicest person we’ve met in Florida and I can’t wait to see him next time we fly into Sarasota !
Visited on 04/08/2026. Best Starbucks I’ve ever been to, so quick and happy employees. The employee that was particularly helpful, generous and willing to help was a man on the register named Matthew. I’ve never been to any fast food or coffee shop that has had an employee like him. I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered a protein latte and the barista, Jasmine, took the time to kindly explain why it couldn’t be made with coconut milk. I had assumed the drink used whey protein powder, but she explained that Starbucks actually uses a whey protein milk blend (protein-boosted milk). I had tried ordering this drink at two other Starbucks locations before, and they either made it without saying anything or simply refused without explaining why.
