I had a similar experience when I placed a mobile order and selected the drive-thru pickup option. When I arrived, the employee said something along the lines of, "For future reference, you need to show up when your order is ready," and then told me I would need to circle back around through the drive-thru. I didn't understand the issue. How would that have been any different than placing my order at the drive-thru speaker? I come to this Starbucks almost daily and I order via app for pick up. However, today was the first time where i was told by a barista to not come in store until my pick up time. I’ve never heard that before. I understand being short staffed and busy… I’m in the medical field. Didn’t realize my being there 5 minutes before was an issue? Is it not a public coffee lounge?
