I wanted to thank Debbie for her Pike Place recommendation on Saturday for my visit with my granddaughter. She left this afternoon and was happy with the coffee and it made our visit very special.

This is the starbucks closest to my job so I frequent a few times a week. I'd say they mess my order up in some way about 1/3 of the time. Order a tea lemonade, get a tea. Order something sweetened it comes unsweetened. Order a latte hot, get it iced. Often the baked goods I order are not fully heated up - which I get to a degree given the speed they turn over drive through orders (which is impressive otherwise). Everyone there seems very sweet, but due to the hit/miss ratio it's hard to justify going there.

I went to the store on July 4th and it was so busy, but I was served by the most helpful and lovely person. I wish I remembered her name, but she has the brightest blue hair. I was buying my regular ground coffee, but also a different coffee for guests. She spent time discussing this Ethiopian Highlands coffee with me and even gave me a sample. I know she didn't have the time to do this. Starbucks can learn some lessons about customer service from this one with the blue hair. The coffee was great too!
