The is by far the best neighborhood Starbucks across Chicago! I’ve lived in many areas and have been a devoted Starbucks consumer for years now and the 5 star review has been overdue. The staff is always so friendly and consistently greets me even if they’re servicing many guests. If for some odd reason my coffee isn’t up to par, they fix it immediately. Laura is running a top notch coffee shop!
Not the best encounter at this location today. I used to come here quite frequently, but today I was denied tap water on request to make formula for my infant daughter and for my dog today on account of the heat unless I made a purchase. I made a complaint to the store manager Laura and I also called corporate and filed a complaint as well. However the manager wouldn’t budge on the policy, hence this public warning / review. Even though it’s part of a large chain, this location feels more like a neighborhood coffeehouse. It’s the kind of place you actually look forward to visiting.
