The white male barista asked me, "Do you have a name?" after I placed my order (brownie & venti hot chocolate), while he asked the white girl right behind me, "Can I have your name?" The same barista responded to my friend with an attitude just for wanting to use the bathroom (which, by the way, is unsanitary), and I wonder if the store policy depends on the customers, because at about 30 minutes before 10 pm closing time, he announced there were 5 minutes left to use the bathroom. I stopped by this store in the evening a few days ago since it’s a quick walk from Lincoln Center. it was very nice and welcoming, everyone was quick to greet me when I walked in and my order was done quickly and made very well. the store itself was very clean, i can’t say that about many starbucks in the city but this one looked very well maintained. the girl who took my order (i think her name was olivia) was kind and provided great service. will definitely visit again if i’m in the area.
