I visited this location with my family, including two senior citizens, hoping to sit down and enjoy some coffee. Unfortunately, every single seat was taken—not by people eating or drinking, but by individuals using the cafe as a free office space and library with laptops and books spread out everywhere. The baristas that work in this store deserve a raise. They are so friendly and make every experience pleasant. They make the drinks the best. I have been to other Starbucks where they do NOT make the drinks correctly. They blend all drinks perfectly and make sure to blend syrups so that that they are not sitting at the bottom. The managers are so attentive and work to ensure a good environment and great product. They get to know you personally if you are a regular and they are fast and efficient. It's a Starbucks, so it's always going to be a chain and maybe lacks that little "something extra" (depending on your perspective) that a mom and pop place will. But I've been more won over by this location recently. It's a cut above most Starbucks. They do have a fireplace (in the relevant seasons) and the seating is nicely laid out, including plenty of squishy options. But the staff are the real win.
