EDIT: Since mid way of 2025 there has been a noticeable positive change in the operations of this location. The manager seems to be a very competent, confident leader and has organized the operation to be much more efficient. The staff changes have also added to the atmosphere and professionalism. I was staying at the fairmont next door and came in for a coffee and bite to eat. When I walked in I was warmly welcomed which I’ve never had at a Starbucks before which was quite nice. My coffee was extra hot and so was my breakfast sandwich which I loved compared to other Starbucks. Considering how busy it was with names being called out every few seconds there were so many staff and it was so organised. While I accept that this is an extremely busy Starbucks, the wait time for food and beverage is worst I’ve ever experienced at a Starbucks. Instead of giving a customer their food order as it is completed, they do a batch and process and then give out about a dozen at a time. The downside from this is food that it is no longer hot. Wait time for food is an easy 10 minutes. I’ve also waited nearly 20 minutes for a drip coffee!!! Don’t order here. Go anywhere else.
