If you're sitting inside you may be ok. There's a strong sewage smell all around the building - we couldn't handle it, took our coffee and left. (Jan 9, 2026) Jul 1, 2026 - moving atmosphere up to 4 stars - no nasty smells. Traffic noise isn't anything anyone can do anything about if you're sitting outside.

I like the vibe here. The baristas are nice and care about their customers. There was one time I was working for a while and just finished my coffee, one of the staffs came to me and asked me do I need the coffee refill. I never thought and asked about this, but they are really generous to offer it. Overall, it is one of my favorite cafes in Bay Area.
