Went here this evening, ordered drinks and a treat. We were sitting outside, but couldn’t take a high chair out with us, so we moved inside. My 8 month old daughter was making happy screeches when an employee came to us and told us that they have a new noise policy directing to our daughter. When asked if someone complained she said no one complained, but she had to say something. Awful customer service, I walked in to order a coffee and ended up waiting for what felt like five minutes while several staff members were busy with other tasks. There seemed to be around five employees, but it still took quite a while to get my coffee—long enough that I was close to asking for a refund. I even tried placing a mobile order, thinking it would be quicker, but it wasn’t. Royal Bay is a beautiful area, and we were looking forward to stopping by the Starbucks there. Unfortunately, our experience on July 3rd around 5 PM was deeply disappointing due to the behavior of a staff member. We had placed an order for coffee and a cheese Danish and were waiting while accompanied by a toddler and a child with special needs, who were laughing and chatting.
