This Starbucks has been 90% consistent, but the speed of service has rapidly declined over the years unfortunately. I can place an in-store pickup order while I'm still putting makeup on at home (I live 1 mile away), and 10-15 minutes later when I pull up the drink is still not even ready. I wait a solid 5-10 minutes more before it's ready. So that's 15-25 minutes to order an iced vanilla latte, which is insane even before you take into account the prices these days. Hate to throw staff under the bus, however, these last few months I have consistently ordered ahead using the app and showed up with an expectation of receiving my order within a timely fashion. What I am now accustomed to is a staff that is under water, (or in the weeds if you know the vernacular), not rude but simmering under the pressure and an unexpected average wait time of an additional 20 minutes on top of my expected delivery time. Lovely and fast
Always late no matter how early I order and the staff is almost always cranky and in the weeds.
Thank you to the barista named Marsha who made my day this morning. My baby has been colicky and I had taken him for a shot at the doctor this morning and drove through afterwards. He was screaming the whole time and she wrote “You’re amazing” on my cup. I really needed that today. So thank you Marsha for your kindness.
