After paying $13 for coffee it’s insulting to give the barista my straw wrapper and be told “I’m not supposed to take garbage at the drive thru window. If your manager imposed this policy he shouldn’t replaced. If she took it upon herself to insult me, she should go through service training. I’ll be sure to toss my Starbucks garbage on the drive thru floor; where there is no garbage bin.
I had a very disappointing experience at this Starbucks location. I ordered a Mango Strawberry Lemonade Energy Refresher and had a balance of $5.03 on my Starbucks app. When I reached the drive-thru window, I asked the barista if she could reload my Starbucks account with $10 using my $20 bill. The barista appeared unsure of how to complete the transaction. She scanned my Starbucks app multiple times, then held out her hand for my cash. I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for a while now, and in the past I’ve always had a great experience. The staff has consistently been kind, friendly, and my drinks are usually made well, so I definitely appreciate that. Lately though, the biggest issue has been the drive-thru line. It has gotten extremely long, and it barely seems to move. I’m not sure if they’re going through staffing changes or training new employees, but the wait times have become pretty excessive.
