Barista had no idea how to redeem my birthday drink. Just a blank stare, no one else there to support her. Also had to explain an 8oz cup to her (for a cortado). To be fair though, it is a grocery store Starbucks so you can’t expect much from their employees.
Totally different experience at this Starbucks in the evening. Kayla the barista and the other female working the bar ignored me at every opportunity they could at the counter. My mobile order said it was ready and nothing was at the counter. I made eye contact with Kayla multiple times and she ignored me. Embarrassing for her I was waiting on her the entire time to make the food. SUPER rude, stop ignoring customers at the handoff plane and forcing someone to go to the counter. It’s everyone’s job to help the customer.
