Told the young red headed kid with glasses and hair pulled back thanks and he walked off muttering something, it wasn't thanks. My gf was in the bathroom and when I told her about it in the car, she said I should have reported it. She was more upset than I was.

I understand that Starbucks has policies regarding complimentary items, and I respect that businesses need policies. What disappointed me was the lack of discretion shown in what appeared to be a genuine situation. My teenage daughter is a regular customer at this location. After completing a 10-mile run on a hot, humid day, she stopped in while waiting for me to arrive with her debit card. She was overheated, red-faced, sweaty, and thirsty. So I will tell you my tale of shame but only because I think the woman I worked with deserves major props. I am a doordasher and I had to pick up an order for (fake name) Bartholomew. It was written in red sharpie on the brown and green bag. Which totally isn’t a problem but I’m red green colorblind and I couldn’t quite see the name. I’ve been coming to this location for past months mostly on weekend. This location is consistent with the drink and on-time for the pick up orders. Shout out to Sarah who works on Sunday for making sure everything is ready whenever she notices customer waiting.
