The service is very slow and they were also rude, don't come here if you don't want to ruin your day
Asked for a strawberry matcha but was served raspberry with out being asked or warned. Reasoning was because they were out of strawberry- which is fine but no attempt was made to make me aware and staff didn’t offer or want to remake for something else matcha wise
This Starbucks is located inside of the UK Bookstore inside of the student center (a lot of people seem to be confused on the location). It’s a basic Starbucks, they have all of the same menu items, you can use the app, and it’s a decent size. It can feel really small and cramped at times due to the large population of students that cram in. Lines can become long, and the seating area can become packed if you go at the wrong time. I am a student here at UK so I'm frequently here at this Starbucks, my favorite thing about the Starbucks in the student center is the lounge area they have. There are lots of coffee tables and areas to sit inside and outside. I typically feel very relaxed when I'm there, as the vibe is very cozy, and calm. The staff are very nice and welcoming, however when it comes to the performance of the staff they tend to work a little slowly when making drinks/food. The Starbucks in the Gatton Student canter is super convenient, especially since it’s right next to my dorm. It’s nice to have a spot so close where I can grab a coffee with friends or before/in between classes. The atmosphere is usually pretty busy and hectic but the staff is friendly; sometimes however the staff can be quite rude but it depends on what time you go.
