I visited the drive-thru at Starbucks on Friday, April 10th around 6:30 PM, and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The employee who assisted me (I didn’t catch his name) did not seem to have a welcoming or professional attitude. I believe that if customers are encouraged—almost expected—to leave a tip, there should also be a basic level of courtesy and good service in return. In this case, that was clearly lacking. I’m not sure that this Starbucks has had the same training as other nearby sites. They rarely get the order correct and certainly cannot make cold foam. The service is pleasant though!
The cashier working the night shift tonight needs to be a little more polite and courteous to his customers. I placed my order online, but I was sitting inside the restaurant. My daughter asked for a glass of water, and he told her she had to buy a bottle because the water wasn't free. I told him I had ordered online, and he asked to see my order to verify it, saying there was no pending order. I showed him my order so he could confirm it. We frequent this place often, but today was the last day.
