I am giving one star because an employee named Owen’s behavior during my visit exemplified a troubling departure from the standards of professionalism and procedural competence reasonably expected in a customer-facing role. He displayed a lack of attentiveness and professional decorum, managed transactions with evident disorganization, responded to concerns with unnecessary resistance, neglected basic principles of service accountability and diminished the credibility of the establishment’s service practices.
I don’t recommend this Starbucks because of an employee named Owen. Not only did he disobey management of the Target who told me that it would be made right, he moved extremely slowly, taking nearly 30 minutes to get through two customers ahead of me because he would make each order before acknowledging the next customer… keep in mind, he made the drink incorrectly to begin with, coffee instead of a clearly communicated plain steamed coconut milk because I do not consume caffeine.
