Kahului's first Starbucks with a drive thru resides in the Puunene Shopping Center. ATMOSPHERE: The inside is quaint & modern. A high top communal table sits in the middle with surrounding low tops and unprotected outdoor tables. OVERALL: I'm not a Starbucks addict but I do have a few favorites especially around the holidays. Having a drive thru store is a terrific idea as you don't need to get out of your vehicle.
Went in this morning to grab coffee and 2 breakfast sandwiches. The two guys working were terrible. 3 customers after us got their food first and when I asked if ours was cooking they didn’t even respond but turned around to put the sandwiches in, after 20 minutes of waiting. We asked for our money back on the sandwiches and the guys didn’t say one word to us. Terrible customer service.
This store is very convenient because it's location and the drive thru. However, the experience of going inside the store is never completely satisfying. It feels a little dirty. Maybe the tables and chairs need to be changed, or just pay more attention to the general cleanliness of the space to make it a 5 star ⭐ Starbucks
