This place is usually bustling. One reason is the wifi in this area of Prunedale sucks, so a lot of students come to do homework on their laptops. Despite the business, they tend to stay positive, clean, and their lines keep moving, like a highly caffeinated costco.
People are rude the wait is forever and the drinks are always made wrong. Waste of my time and money
Just left there. While starbucks inside of Safeway is convenient the guy working there this moment 4-20-2025 8:30 am was just so rude to me! I placed my order for venti drinks since I was using my free stars. He gives me grande, he has barely spoken two words the entire time. I explain that Im pretty sure I said venti because I'm using my free stars and just in case it's my mistake, I apologize profusely-TWICE! We just spent 20 mins waiting for a cold brew coffee going inside, while no joke we watches 20 cars go thru the drive thru with hardly any wait. When asked to get a refund, they said we were next and still waited 7 more mins for them to fill a cup with coffee. Avoid this place at all costs.
Limited menu due to it being a very, very small Starbucks. I never understood why they have such tiny ones when it severely limits their options, especially since there's a full blown Starbucks not far away from this one. Just doesnt make sense. The service here is also atrocious. If you ask for water in your own cup, they recoil from you like you're a diseased wretch.
