I visited the Starbucks inside Kroger today to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, and the experience was incredibly frustrating. Despite it being her actual birthday, we were forced to pay full price for her drink. The staff informed us that because she hadn't had the app for two months, the system wouldn't allow a birthday reward. While I understand policies exist, the lack of flexibility was disappointing.
