I came into the Kroger cafe to sit down as many people do and had put my head down and scrolled on my phone waiting for my job to open. A much older barista (short curly blonde hair) asked me if I worked there and told me that I’m not allowed to put my head down for unexplained reasons (but I definitely know the implications) I usually come in early with my computer/backpack into the cafe just to chill before work. Very unwelcoming and uncomfortable experience. Most of the baristas aren’t like that. Very surprised
