I haven’t taken a sip of my drink and half of it is foam. My drink was supposed to be an iced hazelnut oat milk shaken espresso. When i noticed it was half foam, i asked if they intended for it to be so foamy because it usually isn’t and I was met with a “yea it’s shaken” in a rude tone. They eventually agreed to remake it but it was just as foamy. I left a reference image of what it usually looks like.

This place is horrible. I need to go to my class on time, but they make me wait 30 minutes for a drink that isn't well-made. The drink is of poor quality, and sometimes the grande cup is only half-filled, so I have to ask the rude manager to fill it. The manager is extremely rude and uncaring, and she behaves badly toward international students. The students, too dont care about providing good service.

I am completely appalled by the level of unprofessionalism and disrespect shown by both Destiny and the so-called “manager,” Melanie. You would expect that individuals working in a customer service environment would understand the basics of communication, respect, and professionalism but that was clearly not the case here. It’s actually as bad as people say. I’ve been here about 10 times and there hasn’t been a single one where my order was either on time, correct, not missing an item, or all of the above. They say orders are ready on the mobile app just to look good on time when they never are, students walk up and take orders that aren’t theirs, the service is wildly slow, and I’ve had them remake drinks and STILL BE WRONG the second time. Just don’t waste your time. Go the 5 minutes down the road off campus to the other one.

It’s understandable that they hire students and they are learning but for the only cafe at campus they should focus more on efficiency and managing it better since its always busy and they are exaggeratedly slow, messing orders is a usual, just overall bad service. Corporate should completely restaff the place with the best possible since it is an important store, the only starbucks that manages to frustrate me so much on a regular basis, its just doesn’t make sense. Maybe UTD itself should add more starbucks or other option... read more
