I went to this Starbucks on a whim. Its located in the harris teeter. Two young ladies were working. On my app there was a matcha strawberry frappe that looked amazing. I asked the young ladie could I please have this made? She looked up to the challenge. I went to pay with the app but unfortunately she said she was not able to scan the bar code for the app. I ran back out to my car to get the debit card and by the time I came back and paid she was just about ready with my drink. I couldn’t even order after waiting patiently for about 15 minutes at the register because there was a “ghost rush” from a flood of mobile orders. The poor employee was totally overwhelmed due to improper staffing. She was working by herself trying to cover the register, make drinks and food. It was 1:30 in the afternoon. Other customers were asking for refunds because they had been waiting for 30 minutes. Let me be clear the employee was friendly and polite, doing the best she could to keep up. To the young lady working behind the counter alone today, I hope that you get the help that you need. Your dilated pupils, slow reflexes, and incessant giggles to a simple question make me suspect that you are under the influence of drugs. You were also very rude and condescending. If not drug related, then a course in basic human decency and customer service may be warranted. Either way, I hope that you use this as a learning experience to make better decisions or find a job that doesn’t require human interaction.

I have only had great experiences here. I have a few picky requests when I order a Grande: Double cup; 1 Sweetner; Room at the top so it doesn't slop over; 1/2 inch cream. They happily take it all in and I get just what I wanted every time. I've only been in the mid-afternoon, and the same happy faces are always there.

I had a disappointing experience at this Starbucks today. The employee who attended me was not cordial and displayed a rude attitude from the start, without even greeting me or saying "good morning." She bluntly stated they didn't have bags for my purchase and proceeded to charge me without showing the slightest bit of friendliness. At the end, she didn't even bother to say "have a nice day," which should be a basic courtesy, especially during the holiday season.
