Ordered a matcha latte, was super stoked for a hot beverage on this rainy errand day, came to this location for the convenience of it being in the store I was shopping in. So much matcha was used that I am geeked out of my mind off of like 3-5 sips, so kind of a waste. Also, the flavor was mad grassy as no sweetener was added. The store is inside Safeway. The staff is very friendly. The drinks are good, and there are samples of new drinks.
Was so dissatisfied/dissapointed with my orders today :( first of all the cashier said she could not scan my Starbucks app (to get da stars added to what I have already) due to this location-Starbucks inside Safeway) is not a corporate? I’m assuming this is own by an individual? And I was not able to use my free drink reward :( in addition my Chai Tea Latte was made wrong so much chai spice! :( and the other 2 drinks taste different as well :( per my kids. Always love Starbucks. There are at least four in Hilo, one in Safeway and one in Target and another in the mall parking lot. And the last one in the middle of town.
Supposed to close at 8pm but was locked up tight at 7:40 pm on 3/13/2024
