I have been to dozens of Starbucks - not just in the US but all over the world. The staff are generally lovely and polite - unfortunately that is not the case at this one. I came in late in the afternoon - the store was empty. Instead of just jeading directly into the restroom, I politely asked if I could use the restroom. Deducting a couple of stars cause they got rid of all the stools? Covid I guess, but there's tables And chairs outside so still pretty nice overall.
I went in this morning after kind of a tough night last night and a tough morning. There was someone (tall, Black gentleman - I hope he reads this someone) working there this morning whose warm and friendly smile really helped. This is not a corporate or customer service thing; I just felt the human goodness.
