I walked into Starbucks expecting coffee and somehow got a full VIP experience. The place was spotless, the employees smiled like they actually wanted to be there (I checked—it seemed genuine), and Abby helped me not once, but twice. At this point, I think she deserves employee of the century. I grabbed a slice of cake and a spinach and feta wrap, and suddenly my morning was winning. Worst STARBUCKS ever!! Scanners do not work and the staff has an Attitude!!!
I think it absolutely sucks that Starbucks won’t warm the Strawberry Matcha loaf when asked. That’s actually ridiculous. A staff said it’s because the icing can spill in the warmer. But isn’t that true of cheese or pesto for that matter? Starbucks is too expensive to not be able to eat pastries the way I prefer.
I visit this Starbucks almost every day, sometimes twice a day, and I’ve never had an issue until today May 5 , 2026 around 9:40am. I asked for a simple cup of ice water, and the lady told me I had to purchase something, which I understand policies can vary. However, the way she spoke to me was rude and dismissive. I even offered to purchase an item and not take it, just to avoid any issue, but her attitude continued. Thankfully, another barista stepped in and handled the situation professionally and kindly.
