I recently visited a Starbucks that was not particularly busy, yet I still felt unwelcome. The atmosphere was noticeably lacking in warmth, and the staff seemed indifferent rather than inviting. There was little effort to engage with customers or create a friendly experience. While I don’t expect over-the-top enthusiasm, a simple smile or a more welcoming tone would have made a difference.
