This team deserves a HUGE raise! When my regular Starbucks closed unexpectedly this week, I started coming to the 157 location. This team worked with smiles on their faces while 20 minutes behind on orders and a store full of angry customers. Every day for a full week, I saw the same two member team Get the work DONE…yes they were way behind…yes Literally every customer in the store was giving them dirty looks… Please give them raises or a bonus for what they have gone through this week in New York City! They managed to mess both of our drinks up,, the guy that the register order kept doing everything other than listening to my order such as speaking Spanish to other people in the queue. He didn’t know the drinks and couldn’t find them in the register. I didn’t feel welcome at all and the stuff was visibly annoyed. The guy preparing my order was nice and remade all the drinks and they were very good.
Seems like there are no communication between servers .. Also there are only 3 baristas. 4 would be more convenient for new walk in customers and pick up orders. There should always be one person at the register helping people. No one even greeted walk in customers.
