RecommendedWe went there last night for the first time as we are pizza lovers and have heard for years how good Star tavern is...we usually stick to our usual places: Patsy's in Paterson and Kinchley's in Ramsey and recently discovered Bunny's in So. Orange. While Star Tavern was great, in my opinion, it doesn't measure up to those other places. I am a 65 year old Bergen CountyJersey girl so I'm not new to the culinary delight of pizza. Would I go back? Yes if I'm in the area.
Been going to Star since I was a teenager! It is by far the best. Live in CA now and yearn for Star...they don't know what pizza is out here!
