TL;DR: If you don't give her a lot of tips, you will get insulted. I have been to this place twice. The first time was ok. She charged me $22 and I gave another $3 tip. The second time, I asked whether I can use the $3 off on Thursday. She said that you cannot use it because you didn't follow the ins(although in the promotion post she didn't say that you need to follow the ins). And this time she charged me $24. Very attentive to details and knows how to shape your hair to whatever style you liked! My previous haircuts from other locations in cstat were far more generic. Karen made sure to trim it down shorter but still style it nicely so that I can go without having to immediately return in a month for another cut! Low cost too, only $23

Been going here for the past 2 years while I am here at Texas A&M university and I could definitely recommend this salon I always used to go back to Houston to get my hair done, but now I don’t have to because Star Salon has done a very good job every time and has always taken care of me. I definitely recommend for any Asian guys looking to get their hair done without having to drive all the way home. Come check this place out. Price and Cut is hard to beat!
