RecommendedIt is calming to know that when I go there, I am excited to be there. Allie greets you and calls you by name immediately and you get started with your PT professional. I am going to the Brentwood Star Therapy where Maggie is helping me with post op hip replacement. She is wonderful, both as a therapist and personally with great warmth and friendliness. She has been reassuring to me as this is my first surgery and I’m a bit nervous. Everyone at Star is friendly with a warmth that makes you feel welcome and relaxed. Their technical expertise only adds to the experience.
Had to have shoulder surgery. Lindsey is working hard making me limber and getting me back to normal. Have had 12 sessions and can do most movements again. Everyone up there on the 2nd floor is fun to be around and has a sense of humor which is really an important factor in healing in my opinion.
I am in my 16th session at Star and have worked with most of the therapists. All are really good and have made marked difference in my back problems/flexibility... Chad has been the lead, but I've worked with Lindsey (sp??), Allison and Reece (who is an intern of sorts). I appreciate them all and the office staff itself is exceptional.
I hurt my elbow training my puppy, (I should re-name her "Tennis Elbow.") My injury had nothing to do with tennis, but after 2 steroid injections my doctor sent me to Star. What a great prescription. Some deep muscle massage, exercises, and phono-phoresis, (Miss Naterstead will vouch for my bad spelling, but the blame is all mine to bear) lead to my recovery. But the best thing about Star is the spirit and attitude of the therapists. I enjoyed meeting them and working with them. Now I wonder what they can do for my old achin... read more
