Star of India gives new meaning to the word "hospitality," warmly welcoming each guest to this intimate restaurant by name. The accompanying feast combines fresh ingredients, authentic recipes and gorgeous presentation. The onion Kulcha bread is scrumptious, but when combined with the Saag Paneer, tender chunks of homemade cheese in lightly-seasoned creamed spinach, it is sheer heaven. If you like spicy, try the lamb vindaloo. Or, just sample a bit of everything on the daily lunch buffet. Portions are large, so expect leftov... read more

I had the mahi mahi lunch special and it is absolutely amazing a must have
We love this place. Everything we have ordered has been exceptional.
Sami and his entire staff are some of the nicest, friendliest people in the food business. They have adjusted wonderfully to curbside service while still providing the amazing service we’ve always known from them. Of course the food is all fantastic and travels so well. Even though there’s just two of us in my house, I’ve been buying the new family packs because it makes wonderful leftovers all week! They even freeze great. Oh and I am obsessed with the mint chutney!!
Sami Lal and his family at The Star of India are Little Rock legends. Extensive menu, incredible value, served in a friendly, cozy atmosphere. You’re made to feel that you are a priority and leave feeling that you are valued as a patron. If you’ve never been, give them a try. And if you haven’t been in a while, isn’t it time you went back? Thanks for the years of great food and fun times, Sami!
Hands down the best Indian food I have eaten from San Francisco to Washington D.C. Their MADRAS SOUP is so excellent my 4 yo begged for more. She said it is “buh-licious” They are already kind, and accommodating, making almost anything they can for my other daughter with Celiacs Disease( except Naan and fried foods of course). If you like Indian food, Star of India will make you LOVE Indian food.
Great food and incredibly friendly staff.
I had the luck yesterday to have some of the vegan menu for lunch at work, then bring home a family pack chicken tikka masala 😊 Curbside pickup was very smooth, and everything was delicious! Best value for money!
The food is wonderful and the curbside pick up was a breeze.
We love the Family Packs! It is a great value and we were able to get three meals out of it for a family of four.
