Don’t use Star nursery if you want to “self-load” rock. In the past, I’ve gotten rock several times from Star. You weigh empty, Loaded rock in the bed of my pickup, weight out and leave.- Pretty simple. I went last Friday, waited in line for 30 minutes and was told they no longer allow “self loading” of landscaping rock. You can either buy bags of rock, or you can load up buckets and place buckets into the bed of your truck (what is the difference?) or you can let them dump rock into your truck bed.
