Had a smart key that unexpectedly failed on my Mom as she was having lunch. Luckily, she wasn’t far away and was able to bring her the spare key. Called our local MB dealer only to be told that I would have to drop off the car for them to diagnose even though I explained in detail what happened. They wanted $325 just to diagnose the issue. Geoff made numerous attempts to contact me as well as took time out of his busy schedule to chat with me about the specificities of project. I initially found Star Motor Werks via Instagram when scrolling through car stuff. I’ve been saving up for a brake upgrade. I reached out via Instagram (as advertised to on their IG page) back in December 2024 and received an automated response (see attached screenshot). Never heard back.
