I am so fortunate to work at such a remarkable place with exceptional office staff, nurses and families. Amanda and Mark truly care about their employees and families. Everyone working here gives amazing support to each other and the wonderful families that we are able to help. Everyone works so hard to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently. I truly love being a part of such an amazing company.
Our family absolutely Loves star kids! As a mother to premature triplets, Amanda has helped me navigate all the red tape around having multiple children with different needs. It’s always scary having strangers come into your home. But I feel like every single person that has helped us care for our children have felt like family.
I tried to get services for my disabled twins who get respite care. I was flat out told they didn't get enough hours or pay from their plan to provide services. They should not be on a list when they refuse to even try to find a nurse! I have put a complaint into our caseworker and will also be posting on social media groups to not waste your time with pediatric side.
I love working for Star Kids. They are a fantastic company to work for. I really feel that they care about me as an individual and not just as an employee. The scheduler Corrigan is so awesome to work with and genuinely cares. Mark and Amanda are a great team and have made a very excellent company.
The owners of Star Kids proactively reached out and stepped in at a time when we needed support more than ever after my mom and husband died and I was caring for my disabled daughter. They helped me navigate systemic barriers in getting her setup with in-home respite care, cared for both of us as human beings, and ensured that our nursing staff were not only highly qualified but really kind and were a good fit for our small family, too.
