The Star team replaced a 40 year old furnace, several feet of the main duct, and installed a new central air unit. The crew arranged for and coordinated with an electrician to add the necessary circuits. All of the work was done with professionalism and personal pride. Even though there was a couple of unexpected issues and minor changes, the work was done quickly without any complaints, Every member from Star that we interacted with was knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and friendly. We had a new AC and Furnace installed in our home this May. Randy came out and gave us an estimate. One week later our new system was installed by Bryce and Ethan - they worked from sunrise to sunset and did a great job! with Indiana weather, we were able to test out both the heat and cooling within 2 weeks and everything has run very smoothly. We have high ceilings so a slightly larger AC unit was recommended and has been keeping our house cool even on 85 and humid days
Been using Star for our HVAC system for awhile now. I guess they recently branched out into plumbing, so we had them come out to give a quote on a new water softener. Andrew did a thorough inspection and great installation after giving a very reasonable price. He even came back out the next week and fixed a small leak that had developed under our kitchen sink for free. Really appreciate their service and highly recommend Star.
Service was completed today (just wrapped up about 10 minutes ago), and while I appreciate STAR Heating and Cooling’s fast response and the technician’s professionalism, I was very surprised by the total cost. I was charged $537 for a capacitor replacement, including a $125 diagnostic fee — which means over $400 was just for the part and labor.
