The perceived owner or employee of the store went way too far and overstepped his boundaries towards my niece and great nieces. You don't intimidate young mothers, step towards a stroller that isn't yours, you certainly don't yell at the and you don't make customers cry which is apparently the reputation. A small business should encourage young families to shop there!! Not verbally assault their customers plain and simple.
RecommendedWonderful store! Great service and an excellent selection of beautiful furniture and accessories. We went to every furniture store between Astoria and Seaside since we needed a lot of new furniture, and Star was by far the best. It’s the only furniture store I’ve really enjoyed going to.

I bought two Southern motion chairs with beach bath house material. The chairs did not last a year before material faded and one chair leans to the left so you are very uncomfortable. The foam is one inch on one side and 3 inches on other side. The material buckles up when you get out of chairs showing the material stretches out and we are normal weight people I contacted the owner of the store and he said he would come out, but he never did and now he will not return my calls. I love this place. Best furniture store I have ever been to. They have beautiful quality unique furniture as reasonable prices. Every time we visit Seaside I take a stroll in there. Always tempted to buy but never do until last weekend we got a dining room table and chairs. We are picking it up tomorrow and can’t wait to get it home. The staff is very friendly and they don’t push you to buy. Wished this store was closer to home.

I bought a beautiful dining room table,chairs,and hutch,I also bought a coffee table that was to be ordered and made in another country,they told me it would be 10 weeks out,but I was willing to order it anyway because I had been looking for one like this one, 10 weeks went by and I heard nothing from Star furniture,so I decided to call and check on my coffee table,they had no record of it,and it appears to never been ordered,I waited the entire time,only to find out they dropped the ball, I dont believe I would do buisness ... read more
