I had a great experience at Star Emissions. They made sure my vehicle inspection was completed quickly while still taking the time to explain the emissions testing process and what to avoid before getting tested. Went for an emissions test and failed because of an issue with my car not starting the week before. The gentleman working there took the extra time to pop the hood and fix the issue that caused my car not to start! I was the last customer of the day and he stayed late to fix my car. He also let me know I can come back for a free next emissions test. I cannot thank him enough, he saved me an expensive trip to the dealer. Would highly recommend this location.

Best place to get emission test! It took me 5-10 minutes to get my emission test and the bill total was $25 (09May2026). Went in earlier today to do emission test, I just jump started my car (battery died) so the test failed, THEY LET ME GO FIX IT AND DO A RETEST SINCE I FAILED WITH NO EXTRA CHARGE! And the mechanic told me exactly what I had to do to fix it: drive on highway for 30-40 miles to recharge the battery and reset the car. What a wonderful gentleman running this place- hardworking and genuinely kind. After a recent battery disconnect left my car without enough stored history for the emissions test, he kindly let me return at no charge once I had driven it more. The whole experience was quick and easy. I’ll definitely be bringing my cars back next year.

Love this place! So quick. Friendly. Easy. Cheap. I drove to the old location and the building was GONE! Thankfully with a quick google search I found it again, right around the corner from where it used to be. Go here! It’s now across from Ace Hardware in the pawnshop parking lot.
