We are frequent diners but likely not any more. Really slow service. Ordered our food and waited almost half an hour for it. My partner ordered the French Dip sandwich. The sandwich arrived dripping in butter, the meat charred and unrecognizable, and placed in a corner of the roll. It was not any French dip sandwich we knew. When we mentioned it to the server, she said thank you. She was not listening. The scone was undercooked. The food quality at the Star has steadily decreased. We probably will not return.
Best kept secret in town, best service, best food, we love this cafe and visit at least once a week, can’t get enough, I always have a lot of coffee and it’s always hot! Love them
