Sub-standard job the 1st time, good job when I made them re-do it. – I have a 2007 HHR that needed only the front windows tinted (stock rears are tinted from the factory). The price was a reasonable $90 for a color-matching 3M film with a life-time warranty. I made my appointment and they completed the job while I waited in under an hour. The staff was very friendly and helpful, however they didn't show me actual swatches of the tint, they only showed me a price list and film description. Excellent service and work! – Took my new car to Star for auto tint. They where very helpful and took the time to explain all of the options while giving pluses and minues. I never knew there was so much info around window tint!!!.... however it was nice to see they focused on customer service. Left my car to get the 3M tint treatment. Very Not Disappointed – This place was great. Got to watch Coach Carter in the waiting room. I went with the 3M tint w/ lifetime warrenty. Very cool, Very Clean job. Looks great!!! They also have a great selection of aftermarket alarms.
We are very glad with their work and service – We just had our car tinted with their BC 35 (very good work and the heat blocking is great) and an alarm Audiovox (with remote starter and pager remote). They took their time explaining all the options we had and went over all the questions we asked them. Real nice customer service and attention. We will recommend this store to all our friends, don't bother driving around other places, we did and still came back to them: Prices are fair and quality is good. L & M Schmidt.
great service, but busy – i also came back with some tiny bubbles in my tint, but i called them right away and they explained to me that its apparently normal for the first couple of days. hopefully theyre right, if not i'm sure they'll replace it. the place is great, the people are very nice and helpful, but as others said, they are pretty busy. so call ahead and make an appointment if you plan on going in. for the amount they charged and the service i got, this was definately a great choice.
Tiny bubbles in my tint... – After all the great reviews, I thought I was not going to get a mediocre tint job... Basically I have to bring back my car and have them redo the tint. This was for the color stable 3M film, which definitely wasn't the cheapest I was quoted. But I also didn't want to skimp on poor workmanship. Just expected much better results... I am glad I went to them, very good work! – I called a few other places before calling them and that is how I knew they had to do good quality work, they were the only ones that took the time to explain the options and specifications of what I was insterested in. When I arrived I was treated kindly and informed of all the choices I had. They installed an amplifier (Infinity 311a) with a 12 inch Subwoofer (Infinity Kappa 12.1D). Great Service and Informative Staff – My brother went to star and had his windows tinted. They did an excellent job. I just had my car done and I'm very impressed with the service and the staff. A very courteous group with a lot of knowledge of the products they sell. I plan to recommend them to all my friends and family in the area who need tint.
I'm very pleased. – My son found them on the web and took me there to get his car tinted for Christmas. It went all fine and I just went back yesterday with my truck to tint the front 2 windows. I like how the give you options in price and quality and offer warranty that is valid with other 3M stores (this works great for me beacuse my son goes to UT Austin). The place is an automotive shop so there is no luxury but is very clean and the work was inmaculate.
